If you are near Taksim Square, take the funicular to Kabataş. From Kabataş, catch the T1 tram line towards Bağcılar. Get off at Sultanahmet station. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the Sultanahmet Mosque. The Carpet Museum is located in the courtyard of the mosque, just a short walk away. Follow the signs towards the mosque, and you will see the entrance to the Carpet Museum.

If you are already in the Sultanahmet area, the Carpet Museum is easily reachable on foot. From the Sultanahmet Square, head towards the Sultanahmet Mosque. If you are coming from other parts of Istanbul, take the M2 metro line to Şişhane station. Transfer to the T1 tram line at the Taksim station. Ride the tram towards Bağcılar and get off at Sultanahmet station. From there, walk towards the Sultanahmet Mosque, and you will find the Carpet Museum in the courtyard.
