Getting There

Public Transport

If you are in central Istanbul, take the Metro to Şişli-Mecidiyeköy station. From there, transfer to the M2 Metro Line and travel towards Yenikapı. At Yenikapı, switch to the Marmaray Line. Take the Marmaray towards Gebze and get off at Üsküdar station. From Üsküdar, exit the station and look for the bus stops. Board bus number 15 or 15B, which will take you towards Çengelköy. Get off at the Kuleli Mh. stop. Walk along Şekip Ayhan Özışık Cd. for approximately 5 minutes until you reach the Kandilli Observatory.
Ferry

From Eminönü, take a ferry to Üsküdar. The ferry ride offers beautiful views of the Bosphorus and takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Üsküdar, exit the ferry terminal and head to the bus stop. You can take bus number 15 or 15B from there. Get off at the Kuleli Mh. stop, then walk along Şekip Ayhan Özışık Cd. for about 5 minutes to reach the Kandilli Observatory.
