If you're in Sultanahmet, the easiest way to reach Basilica Cistern is to walk. From the Sultanahmet Square, head towards the Hagia Sophia. Once you reach the Hagia Sophia, turn left onto Divan Yolu Street. Continue on this road for about 5 minutes until you reach Yerebatan Street (Yerebatan Cd). Turn right onto Yerebatan Street, and after a short walk, you will see the entrance to Basilica Cistern on your left.
