Getting There

  • Public Transport - Tram

    If you are in the Sultanahmet area, take the T1 tram line towards Kabataş. Get off at the 'Karakoçan' stop. From there, walk east on the street for about 10 minutes until you reach the Galata Tower, which will be visible as you approach.

  • Public Transport - Metro

    From Taksim Square, take the M2 metro line towards Yenikapı. Get off at the 'Şişhane' station. Exit the station and head south on Sıraselviler Caddesi for approximately 5 minutes. Turn left onto Galip Dede Caddesi and continue until you see Galata Tower on your right.

  • Walking

    If you are near Istiklal Street, head towards Galata by walking down the street. When you reach Taksim Square, cross over to the other side of the street and continue straight until you reach Galata Bridge. From the bridge, head towards the north side of the bridge, and you will see Galata Tower looming above as you walk directly towards it.
