Getting There

  • Metro

    Take the M2 metro line from any station in Istanbul heading towards Yenikapı. Get off at the Vezneciler station. Once you exit the station, walk towards the Vezneciler tram stop and switch to the T1 tram line towards Kabataş. Ride the tram for 4 stops and get off at Sultanahmet station. From the tram stop, head east on Divan Yolu street for a short walk until you reach Sultanahmet Square.

  • Tram

    If you are near a tram stop on the T1 line, board a tram heading towards Kabataş. It’s a direct line to Sultanahmet. The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at Sultanahmet station, and you will find yourself right at the square.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the Sultanahmet area or nearby, you can walk to Sultanahmet Square. Look for the prominent landmarks like the Hagia Sophia or the Blue Mosque, which are both located adjacent to the square.
