Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Çamlıhemşin, which is the nearest town to Mount Kaçkar. Take the D-915 road heading east from Çamlıhemşin. After about 10 kilometers, you will reach the village of Kaplıca. Follow the signs towards the Kaçkar Mountains National Park. The road will become narrower and more winding as you approach the mountain. Make sure your vehicle is suitable for mountain driving. Parking is available at designated spots near the hiking trailhead.

Public Transportation
To reach Mount Kaçkar via public transportation, first take a bus from Rize to Çamlıhemşin. Several bus companies operate this route, and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Çamlıhemşin, you can either take a local minibus to Kaplıca or hire a taxi. The minibus will take approximately 30 minutes. From Kaplıca, you will need to walk or hire a local guide to take you to the base of Mount Kaçkar, as public transportation does not reach the mountain directly.
