Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the central area of Marmaris, start at the Marmaris Marina. Head east towards the main road (Atatürk Caddesi) and follow the road until you reach the intersection with Cumhuriyet Boulevard. Turn left onto Cumhuriyet Boulevard and continue straight. You will pass several shops and cafes. Keep walking until you reach the seaside promenade. From there, you can either continue walking along the promenade or head inland towards the bus station. Look for signs indicating the direction to the local bus terminal, and board a bus heading to Bodrum or Datça, as they frequently stop at major landmarks including historical sites.

  From Marmaris city center, head to the main bus station located near the marina. Purchase a ticket for a bus going to Rhodes. Once you arrive at the port in Rhodes, follow the signs to the local bus terminal. Take a local bus to Rodos, and get off at the stop nearest to Apollonion 11. The Suleymaniye Mosque will be within walking distance from the bus stop, just follow the street signs or use a map application on your phone for precise directions.

• Taxi

  For a more direct option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Marmaris. Simply tell the driver, 'Suleymaniye Mosque, Apollonion 11, Rhodes'. If you are unsure about the English, you can show them the address written down. The taxi will take you directly to the mosque, and you can enjoy the beautiful architecture and surroundings without worrying about directions.
