Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start by heading towards the city of Adalar. From there, follow the signs for Heybeliada, which is one of the islands in the Prince Islands archipelago. After arriving in Adalar, you will need to take a ferry to Heybeliada. The ferry terminal in Adalar is well-marked, and ferries run frequently, especially during the summer months. Once you arrive at Heybeliada, you may need to either walk or use a local taxi to reach Degirmen Burnu Nature Park, which is situated on the northern side of the island.

• Public Transportation - Ferry

  To reach Degirmen Burnu Nature Park using public transport, first travel to the ferry terminal in Istanbul. You can take a bus or metro to Kabataş, where you will find ferries to the Prince Islands. Purchase a ferry ticket to Adalar. Once you arrive in Adalar, follow the signs to the Heybeliada ferry, and take the ferry to Heybeliada. After getting off at Heybeliada, you can either walk to Degirmen Burnu Nature Park or take a local taxi to your destination. Be sure to check the ferry schedule in advance, as it may vary by season.

• Walking

  Once you arrive at Heybeliada, you can reach Degirmen Burnu Nature Park by walking. The park is located approximately 2 kilometers from the ferry terminal. Follow the main road leading away from the terminal and look for signs directing you to the nature park. The walk will take around 25-30 minutes and will offer scenic views of the island.

• Taxi

  If you prefer not to walk, taxis are available from the ferry terminal in Heybeliada to Degirmen Burnu Nature Park. This option is more expensive than walking but will save you time and effort. Ensure that the taxi driver understands your destination, as it may not be known to all drivers. The taxi ride should take approximately 10 minutes.
