Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Ölüdeniz. Head southeast on Ölüdeniz Caddesi towards the coast, then follow the signs for 'Belcekiz Beach.' Continue along the road, and after about 1.5 km, you will reach a fork. Take the right fork towards the hills, which leads you up to the viewpoint. The road is winding and can be steep, so drive carefully. You’ll find a parking area at the top near the Sunset/sunrise view point (G4WP+M4P). There is no parking fee, but it’s advisable to arrive early to secure a spot, especially during peak season.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a Dolmuş (shared minibus) from the Ölüdeniz bus station heading towards Fethiye. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the 'Sunset Point' or 'Belcekiz Beach.' The fare is typically around 5-10 TL. Once you arrive at the beach area, you may need to walk approximately 15-20 minutes uphill towards the viewpoint. There are signs along the way, and you can ask locals for directions if needed. Ensure to check the return schedule of the Dolmuş, as they may not run late into the evening.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk to the viewpoint from central Ölüdeniz, it is about a 45-minute hike. Start at the main beach area and head towards the hills following the path that leads to the viewpoint. It can be steep in some sections, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water. There are occasional signs pointing towards the Sunset/sunrise view point. This is a free option, but be mindful of the time to return before dark.
