Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards the town of Manavgat. From central Pontus, take the D400 highway towards the Antalya direction. Follow the signs for Manavgat which will take you approximately 1 hour. Once you reach Manavgat, follow the signs to Side. When you enter Side, continue on Cumhuriyet Boulevard. The Apollon Temple will be located at Cumhuriyet Blv. No:50. There is parking available nearby, but be mindful of any parking fees which may apply.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a local bus or dolmuş (shared taxi) from your location in Pontus to the Manavgat bus terminal. Buses to Manavgat are frequent and take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Manavgat bus terminal, transfer to a dolmuş heading to Side. The dolmuş ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at Cumhuriyet Boulevard; from there, it’s a short walk to Apollon Temple at Cumhuriyet Blv. No:50.
Walking
If you are already in Side and prefer to walk, Apollon Temple is easily accessible. From the center of Side, walk towards Cumhuriyet Boulevard. It should take you around 10-15 minutes on foot. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views and historical sites along the way.
