If you are driving to Phaselis Ancient City from central Pontus, start by heading south on the D400 highway towards Kemer. Continue on this route for approximately 40 kilometers (about 45 minutes). Keep an eye out for signs for Kemer and Çamyuva, and follow those signs as you approach the town. Once you reach Kemer, take the exit marked for Çamyuva. After exiting, follow the local road signs towards Phaselis Ancient City. The parking area is available nearby the entrance, and there is usually a small fee for parking.
Public Transportation
To reach Phaselis Ancient City via public transportation, you can take a bus from the main bus terminal in Pontus to Kemer. Look for buses that head to Kemer, which are frequent and inexpensive. The journey typically takes around 1 hour. Once you arrive at Kemer, you will need to take a local dolmuş (minibus) or taxi to the Phaselis Ancient City entrance. The dolmuş service is usually available and will drop you off at the entrance. Ensure to check with the driver for the correct stop. Be prepared to pay a small fee for the dolmuş ride, which is typically around 10-15 Turkish Lira.
