Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Trabzon, head southeast on Atatürk Boulevard (D100). Continue straight for about 5 km. After passing the Trabzon Castle, follow the signs for Boztepe. You will see signs indicating the direction to Boztepe Observation Deck. The road will take you up the hill, and you will eventually reach the parking area near the observation deck. Parking is available on site, but it may incur a small fee, so be prepared with some cash.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Boztepe Observation Deck via public transport, take a minibus (dolmuş) from Trabzon city center that is heading towards Boztepe or Esentepe. The minibus stops at various points in the city, including the main square (Çarşı). The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Esentepe stop, you will need to walk approximately 10-15 minutes uphill to reach the observation deck. Be sure to check the schedule as minibuses may not run frequently in the evening.

  For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from any point in Trabzon to Boztepe Observation Deck. Taxis are readily available in the city, and the journey takes around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The fare will typically be around 50-70 Turkish Lira, but it's advisable to confirm the rate beforehand or ensure the meter is running.
