    Car

    If you are driving from Thrace, head towards Istanbul via the O-3 (E80) highway. This is the main route connecting Thrace to Istanbul. Follow the signs for 'Istanbul' and take the exit towards 'Beyoğlu' once you get closer to the city. After entering the city, continue straight until you reach Taksim Square. From Taksim, follow the signs to 'Galata Tower' and park in one of the nearby parking lots. Note that parking may incur a fee.

    Start your journey by taking a bus from your location in Thrace to Istanbul. Once you arrive at Istanbul's main bus terminal (Esenler Otogar), use the metro to reach Taksim station. From Taksim, you can either walk to Galata Tower, which is about a 15-minute walk, or take a tram from Taksim to Karaköy station. From Karaköy, it's a short walk uphill to Galata Tower.
