If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards the town of Ayvacık in Çanakkale Province. From the center of Ayvacık, follow signs for Behram. The driving distance is approximately 10 kilometers and should take around 15-20 minutes. Once you reach Behram, continue to follow the signs leading to Assos Ancient City. Note that there is a parking area near the entrance of the site, which is usually free of charge.

Public Transportation
To use public transportation, take a minibus (dolmuş) from Çanakkale to Ayvacık. The minibuses depart regularly from the main bus station in Çanakkale. Once you arrive in Ayvacık, you will need to transfer to another dolmuş that goes to Behram. The total journey may take around 1 to 1.5 hours. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they stop at Behram. From Behram, it’s a short walk to Assos Ancient City, which should take about 15 minutes.

Alternatively, you can hire a taxi from Ayvacık to Assos Ancient City. This is a more expensive option, but it provides convenience and direct access. The taxi ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting the journey, as taxis in Turkey may not always use a meter for short distances.
