Getting There

    If you are driving, start from the city of Çanakkale. Head south on D550 for about 35 kilometers. Continue onto the road that leads to Ayvacık. Once you reach Ayvacık, follow the signs to Behramkale, which is approximately 10 kilometers further. The Assos Ruins are located in Behramkale Köyü, and you can park your car nearby. The total drive will take approximately 1 hour.

  • Public Transportation

    You can take a bus from Çanakkale to Ayvacık. Buses frequently depart from the main bus station (Otogar). The journey takes about 45 minutes. Upon arriving at Ayvacık, you will need to take a minibus (dolmuş) to Behramkale. The minibus ride takes around 15-20 minutes. Make sure to confirm the return schedule for the dolmuş, as they may not run frequently.
