As you approach Sultanahmet Square, be aware that parking can be limited. There are several parking garages nearby, such as the Sultanahmet Parking Garage, which charges around 30-50 TL for a few hours. Be sure to check parking availability before you arrive.
Public Transportation (Bus)
For those using public transportation, locate the nearest bus station in Troad that services routes to Istanbul. Take a bus to the main bus terminal in Istanbul (Esenler Otogar). From there, transfer to bus line 28 or 30A, which goes directly to Sultanahmet. The bus fare is approximately 15 TL. Upon arriving at Sultanahmet, the square is a short walk from the bus stop.
