We just got back from a two-week tour of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, and it was a really great experience. A big thank you to our guides and drivers, you made everything run so smoothly. The whole atmosphere during the tour was warm and welcoming, and since we were just two people, it never felt like a big, impersonal group tour. This kind of trip is perfect if you love being on the move, you won’t have much downtime because you’ll spend some time in a car or on a plane every second day. Some days can get pretty intense, especially if you’re not super fit, but it’s still totally manageable, and after the busier stretches, you get some quieter days to recharge. The organization was spot-on, and the flexibility to travel during Ramadan, without any issues was a big plus. We’d reached out to a few agencies for this combo trip, but Guided Travels got back to us within an hour, which really showed how much they care about their clients. Overall the communication via WhatsApp during the whole tour was quick and smooth. It wasn’t just a typical sightseeing trip, we really got to experience these places in a way that felt personal and immersive. If you’re planning a trip to Central Asia and don’t mind a fast-paced adventure, this is a great way to do it. Thanks for an awesome trip!

We travelled care of Advantour to Turkmenistan for a three day trip, including the fas crater. Fantastic experience with super tour guides and extremely experienced drivers, who navigated the rather poor road conditions out of the major towns with ease. We felt extremely welcomed by all we met on our travels and never felt anything other than 100% safe, including when exploring Ashgabat independently. Communications were explemplary before and during our trip. An experience to remember!!
