The last stretch involves navigating unpaved roads, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Ensure to have a GPS device or a reliable map, as some routes may not be well-marked.
Public Transportation
To reach Bugor Ak-Tepe via public transportation, take a bus from Ashgabat to the nearby village of Geoktepe, which is approximately 25 kilometers from the mountains.
