Car
If you are driving, start from Ashgabat, the capital city. Take the Ahal Province road heading towards Mary. After approximately 50 kilometers, look for the signs directing you towards the Köpetdag Mountains. Drive towards the village of Geokdepe. From Geokdepe, take the dirt road leading into the mountains. Continue driving for about 25 kilometers until you reach a parking area near the foot of Gora Ak-Kanshar. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for off-road conditions.

From the Ashgabat bus station, board a bus heading to Mary. Inform the driver that you wish to stop at Geokdepe. The bus will take approximately 1.5 hours, and the fare is around 10-15 TMT (Turkmen Manat).
