Getting There

Car

From Gulu Town, head south on the Gulu-Kampala Road (A1). Continue for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the junction at Pager. Turn left onto the road leading to Pader. Drive for about 20 kilometers until you see signs for Aruu Falls. The falls are located off an unnamed road, approximately 2 kilometers from the main road. Follow the road until you reach the falls. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition as parts of the road may be rough.
Public Transportation

Start at the main bus park in Gulu Town and take a taxi (shared minibus) heading to Pader. The fare is usually around 10,000 UGX. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Aruu Falls junction. After approximately 1 hour of travel, you will arrive at the junction. From there, you can either walk (2 kilometers) or hire a local motorcycle taxi (boda boda) for about 5,000 UGX to take you directly to Aruu Falls.
