Walking

From the center of Masaka, head towards the Masaka Main Market. Once at the market, find the main road heading south towards Kyazanga. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers. You will pass several small shops and local homes along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Kyazanga. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will reach the junction where the road splits. Take the left fork which directly leads to Kyazanga. Continue straight for another 2 kilometers until you reach the village of Kyazanga. From there, ask locals for directions to Katuulo Hill, which is located about 1 kilometer from the village center. The locals are friendly and will guide you towards the hill.
Bicycle

Begin your journey from the center of Masaka and head towards the Masaka Main Market. From the market, take the main road leading south towards Kyazanga. This route is approximately 5 kilometers long. As you cycle, pay attention to the surroundings and local signage. After about 20 minutes of cycling, you will encounter a junction where the road forks. Take the left fork heading towards Kyazanga. Continue straight on this road for another 2 kilometers until you arrive in Kyazanga. Once in the village, you can park your bicycle and ask the locals for the best route to Katuulo Hill, which is about 1 kilometer away. The locals are very helpful and can direct you accordingly.
