Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Mbarara, head north on the Mbarara-Kabale Road (A104) for about 5 kilometers. Turn left onto Buremba Road and continue for approximately 3 kilometers. You will find signage directing you to Obururuma waterfalls. There is a parking area available near the entrance.

Public Transportation
From Mbarara town, take a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Kabale. Inform the driver to drop you off at the junction to Buremba Road. This ride will take about 15-20 minutes and may cost around 1,000 UGX. Once you get off, walk approximately 3 kilometers along Buremba Road towards the waterfalls. Be sure to ask locals for directions if needed.

If you arrive at the junction of Buremba Road from either a car or public transport, you can walk the remaining 3 kilometers to the waterfalls. The path is generally accessible, but be prepared for some uneven terrain. It’s advisable to wear comfortable shoes and carry water with you.
