Getting There

By Car
From Kampala, drive southwest on the Masaka-Kampala Highway towards Masaka. After approximately 3 hours, turn left onto the Sanga-Mbarara Road. Continue on this road for about 50 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Lake Mburo National Park.

By Public Transportation
From Kampala, take a taxi or bus heading towards Mbarara. Ask to be dropped off at the junction for Lake Mburo National Park on the Masaka-Kampala Highway. From there, you can hire a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) or a local taxi to take you to the park entrance.
