If you are traveling by car, start from Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. Head northeast on the Jinja Road (A-1) towards Jinja. After approximately 85 km, take the exit toward Mukono/Rubaga Road. Continue on this road for about 20 km until you reach Rubunu. Once in Rubunu, use GPS coordinates -0.6589157, 31.0072294 to navigate to Kazuma Lookout. The lookout is situated at the given coordinates, which should lead you directly to the scenic viewpoint.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, begin your journey at the Kampala Bus Terminal. Look for a bus heading to Jinja or Mukono. The fare typically ranges between 5,000 to 10,000 UGX. Once you arrive in Mukono, you can take a motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) to Rubunu. The boda-boda ride should cost around 3,000 to 5,000 UGX. Inform the driver that you want to go to Kazuma Lookout, and they will take you directly to the location. Ensure you have cash, as most boda-boda drivers do not accept mobile money.
