Getting There

Car

From Kampala, take the Kabale-Kisoro road towards Kabale. Once in Kabale, continue towards Kisoro. From Kisoro, follow signs towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge is located in Nkuringo village, which is about a 2-hour drive from Kisoro. The lodge can be accessed by a dirt road, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended for the journey.
Public Transportation

From Kampala, take a bus or matatu to Kabale. In Kabale, transfer to a taxi or bus heading towards Kisoro. Once in Kisoro, you can hire a motorcycle taxi or arrange for a local taxi to take you to Nkuringo village. From there, you may need to hike or arrange for a local guide to reach Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge.
