Public Transportation (Bus)
From Kampala, take a bus from Namayiba Bus Terminal to Fort Portal. Several bus companies operate this route including 'Gaagaa' and 'Swift Safaris'. The journey takes about 4-6 hours and costs around 20,000 - 30,000 UGX (approximately $5 - $8). Once you arrive in Fort Portal, you can hire a taxi or a motorcycle (boda-boda) for the remaining 30 km to Kibale National Park. The taxi ride will cost around 30,000 UGX (about $8).
