    If you are driving from within Bukedi, head towards the main road leading to Kampala. Follow the signs for Kampala and continue on this road. After approximately 4-5 hours of driving, you will reach Kampala. Once in Kampala, follow Entebbe Road towards the city center. Go Gorilla Trekking is located along Entebbe Road in the Rubaga Division of Kampala. Look for the address on the left side of the road; it may be helpful to use a GPS or navigation app for precise directions.

  • Public Transportation - Minibus (Matatu)

    To use public transportation, find a minibus (locally known as 'matatu') heading to Kampala. These can be found at major bus stations in Bukedi, such as Mbale or Tororo. The fare is usually around 10,000 - 20,000 UGX. Make sure to tell the conductor that you are going to Kampala. The journey will take approximately 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Kampala, you can use a taxi or boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to reach Entebbe Road. The fare for a boda boda is around 5,000 - 15,000 UGX.

    If you prefer a more direct option, you can hire a private taxi from Bukedi to Kampala. The cost will vary but expect to pay around 100,000 - 150,000 UGX for a one-way trip.
