Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Masindi from anywhere in Bunyoro. If you are starting from Hoima, take the Hoima-Masindi Road (also known as the Bujenje Road) which is approximately 90 km and should take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you reach Masindi, follow signs for Butiaba Road, and you will find Masindi Hotel located at 22-34 To Butiaba Road, just a short drive from the town center.
Public Transportation
For public transport, you can take a 'matatu' (shared taxi) or a bus from Hoima to Masindi. Buses and matatus frequently leave from the main bus park in Hoima, and the journey will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Masindi, you can either walk or take a local boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to Masindi Hotel. It's about a 10-minute ride from the bus station to the hotel, and the fare for a boda-boda is usually around 2,000 to 5,000 UGX.
Walking
If you are already in Masindi town and prefer to walk, you can easily reach Masindi Hotel by heading northwest from the town center. Follow Butiaba Road; the hotel is approximately 1.5 km from the center, which should take about 20-30 minutes on foot.
