If you're traveling by car, start from Jinja town. Head east on the A-109 highway towards Kamuli. After about 8 kilometers, turn onto the road leading towards Mafubira. Continue for approximately 4 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Igenge Hill. There is a small parking area available.
Public Transportation
To reach Igenge Hill using public transportation, take a taxi from Jinja town to Mafubira. The fare is usually around 2,000 to 4,000 UGX depending on the time of day and the driver. Once you arrive in Mafubira, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to the entrance of Igenge Hill, so wear comfortable shoes. Local boda-bodas (motorcycle taxis) are also available for hire if you prefer a quicker option for a small fee.

If you're near Mafubira and want a quick ride to Igenge Hill, hiring a boda-boda is a good option. You can negotiate the fare, which typically ranges from 1,000 to 3,000 UGX. The ride will take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic.
