Car
If you are traveling by car from any point within Busoga, you can take the Jinja-Kampala Highway (A-109). Drive towards Kampala and then take the exit towards Salaama Road. Continue on Salaama Road until you reach number 5 Salaama 9109, Buziga. The trip should take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic conditions. Make sure to check for any tolls along the highway.
Public Transportation
To reach Buziga via public transport, you can start at the main bus terminal in Jinja. Take a bus or a 'matatu' (shared taxi) to Kampala, which costs around UGX 5,000 to UGX 10,000. Once you arrive in Kampala, head to the taxi park and take a taxi heading to Salaama. The fare for this leg should be around UGX 2,000 to UGX 5,000. After getting off at Salaama, walk to 5 Salaama 9109, Buziga. The entire journey may take approximately 3 to 4 hours.
Motorcycle Taxi (Boda Boda)
If you prefer a faster option, consider taking a motorcycle taxi, known as a 'boda boda.' From any location in Busoga, first, take a taxi to the nearest major road leading to Kampala. Once there, you can hire a boda boda to take you directly to 5 Salaama 9109. Expect to pay around UGX 10,000 to UGX 25,000 for this service, depending on the distance. Always ensure that the boda boda driver is wearing a helmet and agrees on the fare before starting your journey.
