Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Entebbe Road. From the center of Kampala, take the Entebbe Road (also known as Airport Road) heading southwest. Continue on this road for approximately 34 kilometers until you reach the main entrance to Go Gorilla Trekking, located along this road. Look for the signs indicating the tour operator, and ensure to keep an eye out for the building marked with their logo.
Public Transportation
To reach Go Gorilla Trekking via public transport, you can take a taxi or a 'matatu' (shared minibus) from the city center of Kampala. Head to the taxi park near the Old Taxi Park, where you will find taxis heading towards Entebbe. Inform the driver you want to go to Go Gorilla Trekking or ask them to drop you off at Entebbe Road. The fare should be around 2,000-5,000 UGX. Once you are dropped off, look for the nearest landmark or ask locals for directions to Go Gorilla Trekking, which is along Entebbe Road.
Motorbike Taxi (Boda Boda)
Another convenient option is to use a boda boda, which is a motorbike taxi. You can find these at various points around Kampala. Simply negotiate a fare with the rider to take you to Entebbe Road where Go Gorilla Trekking is located. The cost may vary from 10,000 to 20,000 UGX, depending on your starting location. Make sure to wear a helmet, which will be provided by the rider.
