If you are driving from Kampala, take the Kampala-Mityana Road (A-109) heading west. Continue for about 70 km until you reach Mityana. From Mityana, take the road towards Mubende (A-109) and continue for approximately 39 km. Look for signs directing you towards Nyakalengija, which is about 20 km from Mubende. Once you arrive in Nyakalengija, use the coordinates 0.4246935, 29.9213934 to navigate to Mount Gessi.
Public Transportation - Matatu
From Kampala, head to the main bus park and board a matatu heading to Mityana. The journey takes around 1.5 hours and costs approximately 10,000 UGX. After reaching Mityana, transfer to another matatu heading to Mubende. Once in Mubende, you can find a local taxi or another matatu to Nyakalengija. The total cost for this part of the journey should be around 5,000 UGX. Finally, when you reach Nyakalengija, use the coordinates 0.4246935, 29.9213934 to locate Mount Gessi.
