Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Kampala city center. From the center, get onto Jinja Road (A-7) heading east. After about 6 km, take the exit towards Rubaga Road. Continue on Rubaga Road for approximately 3 km until you reach Masiro Road. Turn left onto Masiro Road and follow it for about 1 km. The Tombes des rois du Buganda will be located on your right at the coordinates 8HH3+H76.
Public Transportation (Matatu)
For those using public transport, make your way to the nearest matatu stage in Kampala. Look for matatus heading to Rubaga. You can catch these matatus near the city center, specifically on the streets around the Old Taxi Park. Once aboard, tell the conductor you are going to 'Rubaga'. The fare is usually between 1,500 to 3,000 UGX depending on the distance. Upon arrival at the Rubaga area, ask to be dropped off near Masiro Road. From there, walk about 1 km down Masiro Road, and you will find the Tombes des rois du Buganda on your right.
Boda Boda
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) from anywhere in the central region. Simply negotiate the price before you set off. A typical fare from central Kampala to Tombes des rois du Buganda should range between 5,000 to 10,000 UGX. Provide the driver with the coordinates (8HH3+H76, Masiro Rd) or mention 'Tombes des rois du Buganda' to ensure you reach the destination directly.
