If you are traveling by car from Elgon to Murchison Falls National Park, start by heading northwest on the Bulucheke Road towards the town of Mbale. From Mbale, take the A109 highway towards Kampala. Continue on A109 for about 140 km until you reach the town of Masindi. Once in Masindi, follow the signs to Murchison Falls National Park, which is approximately 35 km from Masindi. You will need to pay an entrance fee at the park gate, which generally ranges from $40 to $50 for foreign non-residents. Make sure to have cash ready for the entrance fee and any additional fees for activities or guided tours within the park.

For those using public transportation, you can catch a bus or a shared taxi from Elgon to Mbale. The journey typically costs around 10,000 UGX and takes about 1-2 hours.
