    From the center of Gulu, start at Gulu Main Market. Head southwest on Acoli Road, walking towards the junction with Gulu - Kitgum Road (also known as the A1). This should take you approximately 20-25 minutes. Once you reach the junction, continue towards Kitgum for about 1 km until you reach the turnoff onto Unnamed Road (this is the road leading to Aruu Falls). Turn left onto Unnamed Road and walk for about 3 km until you reach Aruu Falls. Keep an eye out for signs or locals who can provide directions.

    Starting from the Gulu Main Market, rent a bicycle from a local shop. Head southwest along Acoli Road and merge onto Gulu - Kitgum Road (A1) for about 1 km.
