Getting There

• Bicycle

  From the center of Jinja, start at the Jinja Main Market. Head northeast on Main Street for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto the Kampala-Jinja Highway (A-4 road). Continue on this road for approximately 8 kilometers. Look for a left turn towards Lugazi (B-10 road). Follow this road for another 5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs for Griffin Falls Camp on your right side. The camp is located just off the road.

• Walking

  If you prefer walking, start from the Jinja Main Market and head towards the Nile River. Follow the riverbank east until you reach the bridge over the Nile. Cross the bridge and continue straight on the road. After crossing the river, you will need to take a left at the first junction towards Lugazi. This path will take you through local neighborhoods and after approximately 12 kilometers of walking, you will arrive at the entrance to Griffin Falls Camp on your left.

• Public Transport (Boda Boda)

  Find a nearby boda boda (motorcycle taxi) stand in Jinja. Negotiate the fare to Lugazi, ensuring to mention Griffin Falls Camp as your destination. The ride typically takes around 30 minutes. The boda boda will drop you off near the main road where you can find signs for Griffin Falls Camp.
