Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Jinja town center, head towards the main road, which is the Jinja-Kampala highway. Walk east along the highway until you reach the junction at the traffic lights. At the traffic lights, turn left onto the road leading towards the Nile River. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach a small roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road that leads towards the Jinja Nile Resort. Continue on this road, keeping your eyes open for signs towards Robinah Forest Park. After about 1 kilometer, you will see the entrance to Robinah Forest Park on your right. Follow the path leading into the park.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Jinja town. Start your journey by cycling towards the Jinja-Kampala highway. Once you reach the highway, cycle east until you reach the traffic lights. Here, turn left onto the road leading towards the Nile River. You will need to cycle about 500 meters to the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit and continue straight on the road leading to Jinja Nile Resort. After cycling for approximately 1 kilometer, look for the entrance to Robinah Forest Park on your right. Park your bicycle outside the entrance and enjoy your visit.

• Motorbike Taxi (Boda Boda)

  Find a boda boda stand in Jinja town. Tell the rider you would like to go to Robinah Forest Park. The rider will take you along the main road towards the Jinja-Kampala highway. Once you reach the traffic lights, the rider will take a left towards the Nile River. After about 500 meters, the rider will navigate to the roundabout and take the second exit towards Jinja Nile Resort. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach the entrance to Robinah Forest Park. Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
