If you are in Jinja town, head towards the main road, Jinja-Kampala road. Walk towards the east until you reach the junction with Nile Avenue. Turn right onto Nile Avenue and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Nile Crescent. Follow Nile Crescent for about 500 meters, and you will see the Source of The Nile on your left.

Rent a bicycle at one of the local shops in Jinja town. Start your ride on the main road, Jinja-Kampala road, heading east. When you reach the junction with Nile Avenue, turn right and continue straight. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Nile Crescent. Keep cycling straight for about 500 meters, and you will arrive at the Source of The Nile on your left.

Boda Boda (Motorcycle taxi)
Find a Boda Boda stand in Jinja town. Inform the rider that you want to go to the Source of The Nile. They will take you along Jinja-Kampala road towards the east. The rider will turn right onto Nile Avenue, then take you to the roundabout. From there, they will navigate to Nile Crescent, where you will find the Source of The Nile on your left side.

Public Transport (Matatu)
Head to the nearest Matatu stage in Jinja town. Look for a Matatu heading towards the Source of The Nile or one that goes along Jinja-Kampala road. Get off at the junction with Nile Avenue. From there, either walk right onto Nile Avenue and follow the directions above, or ask the driver to drop you off closer to the Source of The Nile. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the Matatu stop.
