If you are starting from the city center, head towards the Clock Tower, a well-known landmark. From the Clock Tower, walk along Jinja Road for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction with Bombo Road. Turn left onto Bombo Road and continue for about 15 minutes. You will pass several shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for signs pointing to Kampala Hill. Once you reach the intersection with Wandegeya Road, turn right. Continue straight for another 10 minutes until you see the entrance to Kampala Hill on your left.

From any point in Kampala, you can easily find a boda boda. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Kampala Hill. Most drivers will know the way. A common point to catch a boda boda is near the Uganda Museum or at the junction of Jinja Road and Kampala Road. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.

To use a matatu, head to the nearest matatu stage. Look for one that is heading towards Wandegeya or Kanyanya. Board the matatu and pay the fare, which is typically around 1,000-2,000 UGX. Get off at the Wandegeya stop, which is the closest stop to Kampala Hill. From there, walk straight for about 5 minutes; you will see the entrance to Kampala Hill on your left.
