Getting There

Car
If you're driving from Moroto town, head southeast on the Moroto-Kotido Road (also known as the A109). Continue for approximately 35 kilometers until you reach the junction for the St. Lawrence Water Falls. The entrance is marked by a small signpost. After turning off the main road, follow the dirt path for about 5 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the falls. Be prepared for some rough terrain, and consider using a 4x4 vehicle for a smoother ride.

Public Transportation
From Moroto town, you can take a local taxi (commonly referred to as a 'matatu') heading towards Kotido. Request the driver to drop you off at the junction for St. Lawrence Water Falls. The fare should be around 5,000 UGX. From the junction, you will need to hire a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you the remaining 5 kilometers to the falls. The boda boda fare should be approximately 10,000 UGX. Make sure to negotiate the price before starting your journey.

If you are adventurous and in good physical condition, you can opt to hike from Moroto. Start at the Moroto town center and follow the Moroto-Kotido Road for about 10 kilometers before reaching the junction for St. Lawrence Water Falls. From there, continue on foot along the dirt path for another 5 kilometers to reach the falls. Ensure you have plenty of water and wear appropriate hiking gear, as the terrain can be challenging.
