Car
From Kibale National Park, take the main road towards Fort Portal. The distance is approximately 30 kilometers and will take around 45 minutes to an hour depending on road conditions. Follow the signs to Fort Portal. Once you reach Fort Portal, continue on the main road and look for signs directing you to Semuliki National Park. The entrance is located approximately 50 kilometers from Fort Portal. Ensure to keep an eye on the road signs as you approach the park.

Public Transport (Matatu)
To travel via public transport, exit Kibale National Park and head to the nearest town where you can catch a matatu (shared taxi) to Fort Portal. Look for matatus heading to Fort Portal, which will cost around 10,000 to 15,000 UGX. Once you reach Fort Portal, you can either hire a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) or another matatu to Semuliki National Park. The second leg of your trip will cost approximately 20,000 UGX. Make sure to confirm the destination with the driver before boarding.

Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a boda boda from Fort Portal to Semuliki National Park. After arriving at Fort Portal, you can find boda boda drivers near the taxi park. The ride should cost around 30,000 to 50,000 UGX and takes approximately 30 minutes. Ensure you negotiate the fare before starting your journey and confirm that the driver knows the way to Semuliki National Park.
