Getting There

Walking
From the center of Fort Portal, start at the main roundabout. Head southwest on the main road towards Rwenzori Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Kamwenge Road. Turn left onto Kamwenge Road and walk for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for a sign that says 'Burungu' as you approach the outskirts of the town.

After approximately 1 kilometer on Kamwenge Road, you will come to a fork in the road. Take the right path which leads towards Burungu. This road is slightly less busy and will take you through a more scenic area, with views of the surrounding hills. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you see a sign for 'Kyanduru-Mugusu'.

Once you reach the sign for Kyanduru-Mugusu, continue along this road for another 300 meters. You will notice the area becoming more residential. Keep an eye out for the local landmarks such as small shops and homes. IGURU HOME STAY is located on this road, and you should see the entrance after a short walk.
