Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from the center of Kigezi town. Head north on the main road towards Kabale. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction leading to Kampala. Turn left at the junction and follow the road for another 50 kilometers. Once you reach Kampala, follow signs for Wampewo Cl. After about 5 kilometers, you will find Big Box located at Plot 3 Wampewo Cl on your right. Parking is available nearby.

  • Public Transportation (Matatu)

    To reach Big Box using public transportation, go to the nearest matatu (shared taxi) stage in Kigezi. Take a matatu heading to Kampala. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic, and the fare is generally around UGX 10,000-15,000. Once you arrive in Kampala, get off at the nearest drop-off point to Wampewo Cl. From there, you can either walk for about 15 minutes or hire a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) for about UGX 3,000-5,000 to take you directly to Big Box at Plot 3 Wampewo Cl.

  • Boda Boda

    If you are already in Kampala and need a quick way to Big Box, consider taking a boda boda. Simply find a boda boda stage nearby and negotiate the fare, which should be around UGX 3,000-5,000. Make sure to tell the driver to take you to Plot 3 Wampewo Cl. The ride typically lasts about 10 minutes depending on traffic.
