If you are driving from Kabale town, take the Kabale-Mbarara road (A104) heading east. After about 25 kilometers, look for the sign for Mpambire, and turn left onto a smaller road. Follow this road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Mpanga Forest. Be aware that some sections of the road may be unpaved, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.

To reach Mpanga Forest using public transport, start by taking a matatu (shared taxi) from Kabale to Mpambire. Matatus frequently depart from the Kabale taxi park. The journey should take about 30 minutes and cost around 3,000 UGX. Once you arrive in Mpambire, walk for about 1 kilometer to reach the entrance of Mpanga Forest. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to the forest entrance.
