Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the main road that circles Lake Bunyonyi. Drive towards the town of Kabale. Once you reach Kabale, follow the signs to Kanungu. The drive will take approximately 45 minutes. Upon entering Kanungu, look for signs leading to Kyepatiiko, which is located at the coordinates 4Q6M+472. You may need to ask locals for the best route as you approach this area since it is somewhat off the main road.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, first take a 'matatu' (shared taxi) from one of the bus stations around Lake Bunyonyi to Kabale. The fare is generally around 5,000 UGX. From Kabale, board another matatu heading to Kanungu, which will cost about 3,000 UGX. Upon arriving in Kanungu, you can hire a boda-boda (motorbike taxi) to take you directly to Kyepatiiko. The fare for the boda-boda should be around 5,000-10,000 UGX depending on your bargaining skills and distance.
