Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Lira town. Head northeast on the Lira-Karuma Road (also known as the Gulu Road). Continue driving for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the turn-off to Karuma Village. Turn left onto the road leading to Karuma Village and continue for about 10 kilometers. Look for signs pointing to the Adag Lango cultural site as you approach the village. The cultural site is located at the coordinates 2.2374648, 32.2469545, just off the main road, situated at 66PW+XQP in Karuma Village.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a taxi (shared minibus) from Lira town to Karuma. Taxis to Karuma regularly depart from the Lira taxi park and the fare is approximately 5,000 UGX. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Karuma Village, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) to take you to the Adag Lango cultural site. The boda boda ride should cost around 3,000-5,000 UGX, depending on your bargaining skills and the distance. Make sure to confirm the price before you set off.
