Bicycle
If you are in the central area of Masaka, head towards the main road (Kampala-Masaka Road). Cycle south until you reach the junction for the UN offices. Here, turn left onto the road heading towards Katebo. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers, passing local shops and houses. The Uganda Crocodile Garden is located on an unnamed road off to your right. Look for signage indicating the garden. The total distance is approximately 7 kilometers.
Walking
From the center of Masaka, walk towards the main road (Kampala-Masaka Road). When you reach the UN offices, turn left and continue walking down the road towards Katebo. You will walk past several local markets and residential areas. After about 5 kilometers, look for an unnamed road on your right marked with signs for the Uganda Crocodile Garden. The total walking distance is roughly 7 kilometers, so prepare for a long walk.
Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
In Masaka, find a Boda Boda taxi at any designated pick-up point. Tell the driver you want to go to Uganda Crocodile Garden, located in Katebo. They will take you towards the Kampala-Masaka Road. After reaching the UN offices, they will turn left onto the road leading to Katebo. The ride should take about 15 minutes, depending on traffic, and will cost around 10,000 UGX.
Public Transport (Matatu)
From the center of Masaka, take a Matatu heading towards Kampala. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the UN offices. From there, you can either walk or take a Boda Boda. If walking, head left from the UN offices onto the road toward Katebo. After about 5 kilometers, look for an unnamed road on your right leading to Uganda Crocodile Garden.
