Bicycle
From the center of Mbarara, head west on Boma Road towards the Mbarara-Kabale road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Mbarara-Masaka Road. Turn left onto the Mbarara-Masaka Road and cycle for approximately 30 kilometers. Look for the signs to Lake Mburo National Park on your right. Follow the road signs to the park entrance.

If you prefer walking, head to the nearest bus station in Mbarara and take a local bus heading towards Masaka. Inform the conductor that you're going to Lake Mburo National Park. Once you reach the park entrance, you can walk around the area or hire a local guide to assist you further into the park.

From any location in Mbarara, find a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) stand. Negotiate the fare with the driver to take you directly to Lake Mburo National Park. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to go to the park entrance. The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic.
