Walking
If you are starting from the Mbarara Central Market, exit the market and head southeast on Main Street. Walk for about 500 meters until you reach the junction with Kakiika Road. Turn left onto Kakiika Road and continue straight for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass by several local shops and eateries. Keep an eye out for the signs that lead towards the Eclipse Monument as you get closer.
Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
Find a boda boda stand near your location, for instance, near Mbarara Central Market. Inform the rider you want to go to the Eclipse Monument, which is in the vicinity of FPFQ+JR7. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare before you start your journey.
Public Transportation (Matatu)
Head to the nearest matatu stage, usually located near the central market. Look for a matatu heading towards Kakiika or Nyamitanga. Once you board, inform the conductor that you want to get off near the Eclipse Monument. The ride may take about 20 minutes.
