Getting There

If you are traveling by car, start your journey in Soroti town. From the center of Soroti, head southeast on the Soroti-Kumi Road (A109). After approximately 2 kilometers, you will see a sign pointing towards Soroti Rock. Turn left onto the dirt road and continue for about 1 kilometer. As you approach, you will see the prominent rock formation on your right. There is a parking area where you can leave your vehicle.

To reach Soroti Rock by public transportation, first take a matatu (shared taxi) from the main taxi park in Soroti to Kumi. Ask the driver to drop you off near the turning for Soroti Rock. From there, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer along the dirt road leading to the rock formation. Alternatively, you could hire a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) from the drop-off point for a small fee (usually around 2,000 UGX) to take you directly to the site.
