Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey in Soroti town. From the center of Soroti, head southeast on the Soroti-Kumi Road (A109). After approximately 2 kilometers, you will see a sign pointing towards Soroti Rock. Turn left onto the dirt road and continue for about 1 kilometer. As you approach, you will see the prominent rock formation on your right. There is a parking area where you can leave your vehicle.
Public Transportation
To reach Soroti Rock by public transportation, first take a matatu (shared taxi) from the main taxi park in Soroti to Kumi. Ask the driver to drop you off near the turning for Soroti Rock. From there, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer along the dirt road leading to the rock formation. Alternatively, you could hire a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) from the drop-off point for a small fee (usually around 2,000 UGX) to take you directly to the site.
Boda-Boda
If you're already in Soroti and prefer a quicker route, you can hire a boda-boda from anywhere in the town. The fares typically range from 2,000 to 5,000 UGX depending on your starting point. Just inform the rider that you want to go to Soroti Rock, and they will navigate the route for you. Ensure that you agree on a price before starting your journey.
